Some of you might know that NCAA Swimming Championships are just around the corner over here in the United States. NCAA’s is one of the fastest and most competitive meet with a total team focus.
Just recently, Princeton University won at the men’s Ivy League conference championships, despite being one swimmer down. Freshman Daniel Hasler was unable to swim in the meet, spending the time the hospital. The result of this unfortunate situation is a lip-synching video of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” of the men’s swim team to show their support and team spirit.
This might be too much for some of you outside of the swimming community to understand but I think it’s hilarious! Swimming is a team sport and this also shows why swimming is so much more than just doing laps every day.
If you wanna know a little bit more about Princeton’s win at the Ivy League Championships and hear from team captain Colin Hanna and Daniel Hasler, make sure to check out their interview on the Morning Swim Show a couple days ago.
