The 18th edition of the International Swim Meet in Uster is going to take place this Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1 at the Buchholz indoor pool. I will be attending the event not as an athlete this time but with my video camera for Floswimming to cover the meet. The Sport Show of the Swiss Television met up with Dominik Meichtry and his girlfriend, US swimmer Jessica Hardy, at Zurich Airport before they went home to celebrate Christmas with Dominik’s family. Dominik Meichtry wins silver medal
World Team Member and fellow-countryman, Dominik Meichtry, won the silver medal in the 200m Freestyle on the last day of the European Short Course Championships in Rijeka (CRO). He led the race in Word Record pace for 150m before the very end Daniil Izotov from Russia touched out Dominik for the gold.
