The 18th edition of the International Swim Meet in Uster is going to take place this Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1 at the Buchholz indoor pool. I will be attending the event not as an athlete this time but with my video camera for Floswimming to cover the meet. Check out the meet’s landing page for news and results and visit the coverage page for all the races and more.

Stats 2008
First, I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy, safe, and prosperous new year. 2009 looks like it’s going to be a heckuva year. Otherwise, let’s take a quick look back at 2008 and bring up some statistics.
Oyonnax Trip
To close the year 2008, I went on a short trip to Oyonnax (FRA) with my teammates and some of the youngsters of Lancy Natation.
The aim of the trip was really to have a good time together as a “family” and along the way spend some time with those young swimmers and hopefully inspire some of them to continue their journey in the world of swimming.
